Overview

SparkConnect (“the Platform,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is operated by SparkConnect, with its registered office at Advant Navis Business Park, Sector-142, Noida, India. We are the data controller responsible for your personal data described in this policy.

This Privacy Policy applies to our website, our communication and calling application, and related products and services (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information: Your name, email address, phone number, organization, and the username and password you use to access the Services.
  • Communication data: Information generated when you use our calling and messaging features, such as phone numbers dialed or received, call timestamps, call duration, and — where you have enabled it — call recordings and transcripts.
  • Usage data: How you interact with the Services, including features used, pages viewed, and diagnostic and performance logs.
  • Device and technical data: Device type, operating system, app version, IP address, and identifiers needed to keep your sessions secure.
  • Information you provide: Details you share when you contact support, request a demo, or fill out forms on our website.

Your Data in Our App

Our calling application is built so that your account and your communications stay protected. Here is how we handle the data you trust to the app:

Credentials

Your password is never stored in plain text. It is stored using salted, one-way hashing, so even we cannot read it.

Encrypted in transit

Calls, messages, and account data are transmitted over encrypted (TLS) connections between your device and our servers.

Access controls

Access to your data is restricted to authorized personnel and systems on a need-to-know basis, with authenticated sessions.

Device permissions

Permissions such as microphone or contacts are requested only when needed for a feature and only with your consent. You can change them in your device settings at any time.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We work to protect your information using reasonable safeguards, but we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Services, including connecting and managing your calls and messages.
  • Authenticate your account and keep it secure.
  • Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
  • Monitor, analyze, and improve the performance, reliability, and features of the Services.
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues.
  • Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We process your data on the legal bases applicable to you, which may include your consent, the performance of a contract with you, our legitimate business interests, and compliance with legal obligations.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers: With trusted vendors who help us operate the Services (such as cloud hosting, telephony carriers, and analytics), under contracts that require them to protect your data.
  • Legal and safety: When required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or us.
  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you of any change in control of your data.
  • With your consent: When you direct us to share your information with a third party.

Data Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These include encryption of data in transit, restricted access controls, and ongoing monitoring of our systems. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. You may request deletion of your data as described in the section below.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, update, or delete your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

If you have a complaint about how we handle your data, you may contact us at developer@sparkconnect.cloud. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Cookies & Tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used so we can improve it. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may affect how the website functions.

International Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own. Where we transfer data across borders, we take steps to ensure it receives an adequate level of protection in accordance with applicable law.

Children’s Privacy

The Services are intended for business use and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
